Im not in the mood to blog so ill start with rode shultz on sunday he was really good but he doesnt get his right lead canter unless i go up into 2 point. So its either me making him off balance (although he can pick it up no problem on the left lead) orrr he needs lots more trot work to get him to balance that is if its not me doing the unbalancing haha

Monday I just lunged him only did walk/trot with him. Then worked on him being terrified of my fly spray, so i just worked with his fear of it eating him.
I sprayed beside him in rhythemic sprays until he was somewhat not dancing around me to get away. Slowly moved closer to him if he would go "O.M.G." and give it the bug eye again just stay there until he calmed. Eventually I got to spray his body with it and then he got tons of praise and some treats. xD

Today I saw him all the way out in the pasture and i was like greaat, its muddy out where hes standing. I walked the trek and got to a muddy swampy part and just said "darn shoulda put on my boots.." after a bit of standing on the edge and calling shultz he looked up and came to me! I was like ok, this is too good to be true xD  so i gave him a treat for coming to me. fiddled with my lead rope.. still he didnt make a run for it.. So I walked. He walked with me, all the way to the gate, without a lead rope :O 
I was like ok! you deserve some carrots :) he stood there while I put the lead rope around his neck and got my halter (which is btw a new purple one because the ones that st andrews had didnt fit him) and got it on without problem :D
I was so happy lol

I just found a horse to ride by chance lol
Shes in Birds Hill Park Ranch :P
A 16.1hh thoroughbred mare.
So far from what ive learned from talking to the owner is :

•  Shes pretty much bomb proof (can go anywhere beside or around cars, trains and tigers in trees)
   
• The owner is blind so the horse (named Jenna) knows the trails and if i get lost I just drop the reins and say "jenna go home" and she'll take me. Same thing with if i wanted to go anywhere Renee (the owner) usually goes (like the pond).
• Jenna can go either western or English. The owner rides her all the time in English so her western saddle is gathering dust lol
• She did have a fractured bone (cant remember where -_-') but shes been cleared by the vet to do jumping . Its been 4 years since the broken bone.
• She has a huge, ROUND jump and can jump you outta the saddle if you are not used to it. She can jump up to 4 feet, but since im not use to her i should stay at no more than 3 feet (of course i wont jump right away though lol)
• She is a proven show horse (but after the fracture she cant really get in her high 70s anymore) but she knows the movements :)
• ANND she has her good and bad days.. the bad days you juuust might wanna stay in the arena cause she can get hot lol
